Using ReadyStudy

These terms are an agreement between you and ReadyStudy, the operator of the app and website. An adult parent or guardian must handle setup, account management and purchases, and be legally able to enter this agreement. You must be authorized to provide information about each student you set up.

The current app

ReadyStudy provides learning games, guided lessons, puzzles and creative activities. Selected learning topics and included offline games are free. Optional Premium access unlocks additional learning content. Guided courses and other catalog activities need an internet connection; included offline games can be played without one.

Schoolwork uploads, parent-generated quizzes and AI chat are not included in the replacement app. For School is planned for a future release, with no promised release date. ReadyStudy supports learning and does not replace a teacher, school curriculum or professional assessment, and we do not guarantee a particular educational outcome.

Optional parent accounts and saved progress

You can start without a parent account. ReadyStudy still uses a service identifier and stores student profiles and learning progress on its servers to provide the app. Linking a parent account lets you access saved profiles and progress across devices. Keep account credentials and devices secure. Artwork remains on the device where it was created and is not included in account sync.

A parental gate protects settings and purchases. It does not replace adult supervision or any parental permission required for use of the service. OurPrivacy Policyexplains the information we process and your choices.

Plans, purchases and renewals

Premium is optional. Your store's price, currency, billing period and any eligible introductory offer are shown before purchase. Subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google are billed by that store and renew automatically unless cancelled under its terms. Manage or cancel them through the store account that made the purchase. The free path does not require starting a trial.

Restore purchases in For Parents, then Settings, using the original store account. Linking a ReadyStudy parent account does not itself purchase Premium or guarantee transfer of purchases between stores or from the older app. Contact support if a previous purchase does not restore. Deleting app data, uninstalling the app or deleting a parent account does not cancel a store subscription. See ourRefund Policy.

Your content and acceptable use

You retain your rights in content you provide. You give ReadyStudy permission to process, host and display submitted content only as needed to provide and protect the requested service. Local artwork stays on its device. Do not provide content or student information you are not authorized to share, distribute harmful or infringing material, access another family's information, bypass access controls or disrupt the service. Use ReadyStudy for lawful personal and family learning support.

Older parent study services

The older parent web service atapp.readystudy.appremains separate. Its lesson uploads, quiz generation, AI chat, family sharing and paired quiz devices are not features of the replacement app's For Parents area. Existing saved data has not been deleted as part of the change. Contact support for help with older content or a previous subscription.

When you use those older features, you are responsible for having permission to upload the material and share access with other adults. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable; a parent must review quizzes, answers and other generated material before relying on it. Existing web subscriptions are billed by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, and managed separately from app-store subscriptions.

Deletion and suspension

Deleting saved app data and deleting a linked parent account are separate actions. Follow our deletion instructionsto choose the right one. Deletion is permanent. Removing a shared session or account can affect other devices or family members using it. Store and payment providers may retain their own transaction records.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or secure the service.

Availability and responsibility

ReadyStudy is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change or discontinue features and cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. Authentication, hosting, payment and app-store services have their own terms. To the extent permitted by law, ReadyStudy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and contact

We will update the effective date when these terms change and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them. Questions can be sent tohello@readystudy.app.
